Introduction

I love to sail. I'm looking to meet people who share the same passion, love for the outdoors, adventurous, and have a zest for life. I do primarily cruising, but I would love to participate in races.

How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description, include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)

I've been sailing and skippering for over 20 years. I started sailing Sunfish, Lasers, and FJs when I lived in Hampton, VA. I also owned a 30-foot Columbia sailboat, and I sailed on the Chesapeake Bay for several years as well in SF Bay. Title is skipper.

What type of boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? what sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??

I've sailed and raced on 14-foot FJs (Flying Juniors), Sunfish, Laser, and Lidos. The sailing boats I charter are Hunters and Jeanneaus from 29-foot to 54 foot in length. I primarily cruise around the SF Bay, but I would love to do ocean passages.

No, I charter boats out of Club Nautique in Alameda. I used to own a 30-foot Columbia when I lived in Hampton, Virginia. When I retire, I would like to purchase a boat and liveaboard.

Do you have any US sailing, or ASA certificates? Do you Bareboat Charter?

I am U.S Sailing bareboat certified from Club Nautique. My goal is to obtain Coastal Passage Making (CPM) certification.

Are you disabled, or have limited mobility? You'll be welcomed, but it's very important for skippers to know ahead of time to keep everyone safe while sailing (you included).

No, I'm not physically disabled or have limited mobility. I'm in good shape and healthy.
