Introduction
I'm interested in cruising, racing and just sailing the day away!
How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)
I previously owned a Valiant 40 which was on the hard in Antigua in English Harbor, a Newport 30 and just sold my Ericson 38. My experience has been mostly cruising both the leeward and windward Islands in the Eastern Caribbean. I have sailed every nook and granny of the Bay and really like to participate in the cruise ins and outs. Albeit I have only been out the gate a hand full of times. I would say that I am a intermediate sailor but there is always more to learn!
What type boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? What sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??
Mostly single and multi-hauls. I like to cruise, race and hopefully someday go out the gate and turn left for several years. Would like to do the transpac and Baha ha ha someday.
If you are a private boat owner -- please describe your vessel in as much detail as you can.
Just sold the Erison 38. Hope to buy another boat next year.
Do you have any US sailing or ASA certificates? Do you bareboat charter?
I have a ASA certificate.
Are you disabled or have limited mobility? You'll be welcomed, but it's very important for skippers to know ahead of time to keep everyone safe while sailing (you included).
