Introduction

I belong to Spinnaker sailing Club in Redwood City and am always looking for folks to sail with me. Additionally, I love sailing in the central bay: especially form South Beach or Sausalito!

How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description, include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)

I started sailing summer of 2008. Somehow I just had this crazy notion that I would love it without ever having spent much time on the water! Ron and I did our first cruise in BVI this last December 2009. And I just passed my Bareboat Charter Exam!

What type of boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? what sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??

I have been mostly sailing on a J105 for Beercan Races and taking Merit 25's out for practice. I am saving my pennies for a nice cruiser 32 to 36 feet and am on the waiting list for South Beach. I also am fairly active with BAADS.

If you are a private boat owner -- please describe your vessel in as much detail as you can.

Do you have any US sailing, or ASA certificates? Do you Bareboat Charter?

ASA: Basic Keelboat Basic Coastal Cruising Barebaot Charter US: Spinnaker class

Are you disabled, or have limited mobility? You'll be welcomed, but it's very important for skippers to know ahead of time to keep everyone safe while sailing (you included).
