Introduction
Love to sail!
How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description, include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)
I have had some sailing experience in the past and am looking forward to really learning what to do - and when- this time around. I would describe myself as a novice, but don't plan to stay one for long.
What type of boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? what sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??
Mostly small boats 18-24 feet, a couple of times up to 41 feet. Used to sail quite regularly on a 38 foot ketch - years ago. I was on a race crew for 1 race - most of that time as ballast - and loved the speed and excitement.
If you are a private boat owner -- please describe your vessel in as much detail as you can.
I am not a boat, nor have I ever been a boat. But I do float.
Do you have any US sailing, or ASA certificates? Do you Bareboat Charter?
I am looking forward to taking Basic Keelboating in the next year.
Are you disabled, or have limited mobility? You'll be welcomed, but it's very important for skippers to know ahead of time to keep everyone safe while sailing (you included).

"Hi - I think Jack London Square does some fireworks - might be closer for some of the Oakland/San Leandro/Alameda sailors. Not sure we would participate during the evening, but a day sail sounds like fun this weekend."
