Introduction
I have a sailboat in the Berkeley Marina and I enjoy taking novice and experienced crew to cruise the Bay. I am looking forward to meeting others interested in sailing.
How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description, include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)
I have always enjoyed being on the water. I began sailing with Cal adventures on their small dinghies five years ago. Then I took classes in Santa Cruz and began sailing 32' boats. Sailing is one of my core hobbies along with running and dancing.
What type of boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? what sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??
Learned to sail on dinghies. Have chartered beneteau 32's several times. Currently sail mostly on my small 20' boat, a Cal 20.
If you are a private boat owner -- please describe your vessel in as much detail as you can.
Cal 20. Classic small fiberglass boat. Large cockpit that can fit 5 adults comfortably.
Do you have any US sailing, or ASA certificates? Do you Bareboat Charter?
ASA Bareboat Charter Certification. I do bareboat charter out of Santa Cruz.
Are you disabled, or have limited mobility? You'll be welcomed, but it's very important for skippers to know ahead of time to keep everyone safe while sailing (you included).
