Modern Sailing is pleased to announce the return of one of our favorite visual presentations! The seventh talk in the ever-popular Winter Speaker Series is a very special slide show by James A. Martin.

Photojournalist and nature enthusiast James Martin will be showing some breath-taking photography from his book, “The Islands of San Francisco Bay.” He will also be sharing the history of the Bay—speaking about the early days when today’s islands were once hills in a valley populated by bison and saber-tooth tigers, and relating some thought-provoking predictions for the future of the Bay.
