It has been about a year since John, Andy and Gabe began sailing together. We're all participating in the Three Bridge Fiasco on Saturday.

Gabe will be the crew on "Take 5" in the Express 27 Doublehand division.

John and Andy will be on the Photo Boat.

So we decided we'd all go sailing together the Thursday before and give Gabe some practice with flying the chute short handed.

John will practice taking pictures and video.

    Was the perfect opportunity to learn how to doublehand a symmetrical spinnaker with friends. Great practice for the 3BF a couple days later. Even a cold couldn't put a damper on this sun filled day.

      “ This was GREAT! Gabe, Andy and I went out on a J/24 and I did as little as possible. In fact I went out of my way to do things I'd never done on a J24 before that had absolutely nothing to do with actually sailing the boat (like go below and follow our progress with a GPS while laying on a bunk). It gave Gabe a chance to practice for his 3BF debut. I have some pictures and video, but haven't had time to upload them. ”
