I'm racing in this Regatta, are you?

Please RSVP YES if you are, and in your comment, state which boat (Boat Type, Name).

Throughout 2010, we are going to keep track of which members are racing on which boats in which regattas. It's our way of spreading the word about the people that are members of the Got Wind and Water Sailing Network, who are active in the sport of Yacht Racing on San Francisco Bay.

If you are NOT racing, but want too, RSVP 'Maybe' and state in the comments what you would like to race on. Make sure that your Got Wind and Water profile is filled out.

We will use these RSVP's to help you connect with the Owners and Crew Captains of Race boats.

Most often, these people are looking for specific types of people with specific skills. We want them to use Got Wind and Water to find the people they are looking for.

We will also use these Race Events to put in post race comments and photo albums. We want the sailing community to know that we are networking active sailors of all levels and positions, including those that race.

Another great race on Echo. Plenty of wind which Echo loves and an easy spinnaker back down the estuary. My crew mates Jack and Matthew are the BEST !

Great time on Kuai. We felt we nailed the upwind tactics and performance. It was a cool ride out to Bonita, and a fairly easy rounding. Downwind was not dramatic, just a long spinnaker leg with lighter boats catching up. We managed to hold off (or stay close enough) to the lighter boats to place 2nd. It was great seeing other Got Wind and Water Members at Encinal Yacht Club afterwards.

We had a great sail, plenty of wind and a fantastic downwind along the sf city front with an after party at Encinal YC. Good people as well. Thanks Jack

The race was a lot of fun, but of course being a regular S.F. Yacht Racing Assn. race, this wasn't really a GWAW meet-up.
    •  Fabulous race and we had a very good time, although we had a massive broach just after we crossed under the GG Bridge returning to the Bay and lost a spinnaker sheet.

       Spectacular!
