Now here is something special. Herb Potter wants to participate in the Winter Sailstice. His boat Kira, is an Aerodyne 38 which he keeps at the San Francisco Yacht Club. It's a performance cruising yacht with an Asymmetrical Spinnaker. It is a really sweet boat. He likes to sail with a small group. He spends about half his time on the West Coast, the other half the time he's on the East Coast. I'm going to comb through the Got Wind and Water membership and pick people from the Main Event RSVP list to build a crew for him for the Winter Sailstice. Going to Ayala Cove would be like crossing the street, so Herb will take Kira out to stretch her legs before arriving at Angel Island. If you have Asymmetrical Spinnaker experience, include that in your comment with you RSVP.
Stay tuned as more AO's sign up and post their plans.
When you sign up for one of the many boats that are going, RSVP 'No' on this main page and add a comment that tells everyone which boat you are going on.
