I have chartered the Beneteau 31 (http://www.modernsail...) out of Modern Sailing in Sausalito (http://www.modernsail...) for the day. We'll meet at 10am (I'll already have checked the yacht out), get organized and slip lines. Itinerary is very flexible - as this is late season sailing with most likely light winds we'll just take it as it comes and enjoy the day on the water. We'll be back at the dock no later than 5pm.

I've sailed the yacht before and it’s a very nice, light and responsive boat. Everyone gets the opportunity to help sail the yacht with equal time on the helm. There'll be 6 total.

Bring typical sailing gear (if you're new to sailing on SF Bay then warm clothing and a windproof jacket for the wind), lunch and snacks. As this is late season sailing, do bring warm clothing including hat and gloves. Per charter agreement, please no black soled shoes.

The sail may be canceled if there is bad weather - it depends on how bad the weather is! On Thursday 5 Nov I'll look at the weather forecast and send an e-mail to those that RSVP whether the sail is on or off.

The cost is $34.00 which covers the cost of the charter and the Amazon transaction fees for the pre-payment. Don't need to pre-payment now - wait until 5 Nov once I checked the weather and confirmed the sail is on.
